ācārāllabhate hyāyu: ācārādīpsitāḥ prajāḥ |
ācārāddhanamakṣayyam ācāro hantyalakṣaṇam ||
Good conduct gives long life, desired well-behaved progeny and ever-lasting wealth (i.e. prosperity). so also by good conduct other defects are destroyed. (i.e.They become ineffective.)
