Academics

The academic department is divided into three faculties which are further divided into departments for ease of functioning. The faculty and departments are responsible for academic activities which include teaching and research. The courses of study are organized into semester programs for post-graduate students and year-wise programs for undergraduate students. The medium of instruction is Samskrit. Students are evaluated on a continuous basis throughout the semester and year. Evaluation is done by both internal and external faculties. Research work is evaluated based on a review thesis by peer examiners.
Ordinances in respect of the academic program of study are prepared by the syndicate which is the highest academic body in the institute. Several conferences, symposiums, and workshops are organized by the faculty which attract participation from scholars from all over the country. The institute maintains academic friendship with several educational institutes in the county through faculty exchange programs. The academic atmosphere at the institute is the best for seekers looking up to our tradition and culture for imparting knowledge.
